Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to transform complex data into clear, meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This opportunity is designed for an analytical professional who can go beyond analyzing numbers—identifying what the data means, communicating why it matters, and translating findings into information senior stakeholders can act on.

The Lead Data Scientist will work with organizational data, identify meaningful patterns and insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders across multiple levels of leadership. A critical component of this position is the ability to confidently present complex information to A–C level leaders , making exceptional communication and executive presentation skills just as important as analytical capability.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful, actionable information
  • Ability to confidently present findings and recommendations to A–C level leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand
  • Ability to identify important patterns, trends, and implications within complex information
  • Firm analytical mindset with strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience translating complex datasets into strategic business insights
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations for executive leadership
  • Ability to connect analytical findings with organizational or operational priorities
  • Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience communicating data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to turn analysis into clear narratives that support decision-making
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional who is equally comfortable working through complex data and standing in front of senior executives explaining what that data means . This individual should be able to move beyond simply producing analysis and clearly communicate the implications, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights revealed by the information.

The strongest candidate will combine a firm analytical way of thinking with exceptional communication and executive presence . They should be comfortable tailoring highly technical or complicated findings for different audiences and presenting information in a concise, credible, and decision-oriented manner.

Compensation

$143,000 – $180,000 annually

Compensation within the listed range will be determined based on the candidate's analytical expertise, data science experience, executive communication capabilities, additional technical expertise, qualifications, and overall alignment with the position.
