Responsibilities

\n
• Define and champion data engineering standards across architecture, data modelling, pipeline design, testing, CI/CD and observability.
\n
• Lead technical design reviews and guide engineering teams on scalable data platform solutions.
\n
• Take ownership of key platform initiatives, improving reliability, scalability and performance across the data estate.
\n
• Partner with engineering leadership to shape long-term platform strategy and technical direction.
\n
• Mentor and support engineers across multiple teams, driving technical excellence and best practices.
\n
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks and approaches to modernise the platform.
\n

Must-Have Requirements

\n
• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience with a background in leading technical initiatives across multiple teams.
\n
• Strong SQL and Python expertise.
\n
• Solid understanding of data modelling
\n
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based data platforms, ideally within AWS environments.
\n
